This could include your name, title, email address, telephone number, areas of practice you are interested in and firms that you would be interested in. We also gather data about you online from “professional networking websites” (e.g. LinkedIn) and external websites such as membership associations, professional and commercial publications. We also store information regarding our conversations with you including dates of contact, any information that may be relevant to your search for a role and further information that you have provided to us or clients.
Which is necessary: for us to be able to provide you with advice on the international tax market including opportunities within firms that we consider to be suitable to you and for us to assist you with the full interview process with our clients.
We process your information in the following ways: online searches to gather further information regarding your background, potential employers that you have come into contact with including where your profile may have been sent previously, where you have undertaken interviews, offers made by employers and roles you have accepted, any data we are required to process by law.
Data retention period: We will continue to process your information under this basis for as long as we consider it necessary to advise you on the legal market, or until you withdraw consent or it is determined your consent no longer exists. Information that we retain on candidates is cleansed periodically in accordance with the law to ensure that we do not store your details for longer than necessary.
Data deletion: Should you inform us that you do not wish for us to store your data, we will delete it from our database. If we have not had any contact with you for an extended period.
Sharing your information: We will only share information with a client regarding you and your practice where you have provided your express consent.
If, as determined by us, the lawful basis upon which we process your personal information changes, we will notify you about the change and any new lawful basis to be used if required. We shall stop processing your personal information if the lawful basis used is no longer relevant.
Client data: We process data about our clients. This includes contact details, title, career history. We will also store details of meetings/interviews between our clients and our candidates. We will also store publicly available information from the client’s website and “professional networking websites”. We process this data for our legitimate interests of finding clients appropriate candidates.
